Geriatric Services

South Coast Wellness’ Geriatric Service has a strong interdisciplinary practice. The team is staffed by registered nurses, social workers, geriatric psychiatrists, and geriatricians. Our program is a proud member of the Regional Geriatric Program. The Program provides non-emergency clinical assessment, consultation, treatment and education to older adults or to individuals with early onset aging, their families and service providers who are, or know of, someone who is experiencing mental health issues combined with age-related difficulties. Although not an urgent service, the program has capacity to address emerging issues within forty-eight hours. This includes going to the individuals home.
